Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Kumar Singh is one of the best joint replacement, sports injury and Trauma surgeons in Jaipur, India. He is one of the very few orthopaedic surgeons in India who can perform computer navigated and conventional joint replacement surgeries. He has successflly performed over 5000 joint replacements both in the UK and in India. He is also highly proficient in sports injuries, arthroscopic and trauma surgeries amd has performed over 500 knee ligament repair surgeries.
He graduated from MLN Medical College Allahabad in 1999. He completed is postgraduate Orthopaedic trainig from SN Medical Colege Agra in 2002.
Specialization and expertise
In 2003 he emigrated to the UK for higher surgical training and attained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2005. He completed his Orthopaedic training at various London hospitals including the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and the Elective Orthopaedic Centre Epsom. During his training he worked with many renowned orthopaedic surgeons gaining a wealth of experience in various orthopaedic subspecialties.
Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Singh has huge interest in Sports injuries and he completed his Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2011. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and obtained his FRCS (Orth) in 2013. In 2014 he was appointed Consultant in the NHS and worked there for 3 years before relocating to India.
He is extensively published in peer-reviewed journals and has carried out research in key aspects of hip, knee and sports surgery. He has more than 40 international publications in high index journals including papers in the esteemed British Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He has also presented his work at most renowned international Orthopaedic conferences.
